Founder Advice
The one thing I wish I’d been told when I started my business is that you don’t need the best of everything to get started. Whether it’s tech, office space or suppliers, it’s easy to think you need the top tier version of everything before you begin. But you just need something that works—you can upgrade later when you’ve grown into the need. When you start a business, even if you know what you’re doing, there’ll be teething issues. You’ll spot gaps, make mistakes, and things won’t always go to plan. That’s part of the process. So if you’re starting out, here’s my advice in a nutshell: you don’t need the best of everything. You don’t need all the answers either. You just need to start, and be willing to learn and adapt along the way.
