Quick Interview with Sue Campbell
Who are you and what do you do?
After a lifetime in the corporate world, I decided that it was time to do something that will have more lasting impact.
Living in Asia, I saw for myself the problem of plastic pollution and that the large consumer companies are not tackling this in any innovative way.
I decided to create a new range of products that eliminated the need for plastic.
“Take more risks.”
Sue Campbell
What’s the story behind your success?
After living in Asia for eight years and seeing the devastating impact of plastic pollution, I left my corporate job and returned to the UK to start KIND2.
We are all about a solution to the problem by creating a range of solid, plastic free products – firstly hair care – a range of high performing shampoo and conditioner.
We are not only plastic free but also vegan, cruelty free. Our products are plant based, they do not contain soap and are ph balanced – so actually work in hard water.
We proudly launched in August.
What would you call yourself?
An innovator – I like to create new solutions to existing problems and challenge the status quo.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
That most challenges are not as difficult or as scary as they first seem, through creative thinking (and some hard work) there is usually a solution.
What three tools makes your business run better?
1. Shopify 2. Canva 3. Excel (you have to know your numbers!)
